‘The Art of Stillness’ was created from layers of digital and drawn elements. I was aiming for a feeling of chaotic and vibrant energy juxtaposed with a state of stillness. It was almost as if all the layers were boldly demanding attention as they surrounded the portrait of the woman beneath, yet she expresses surrender and inner stillness among the multi-faceted layers of colour and texture.
